Our mission is to inspire
momfluentials - one of the most
important of market sectors - to help propel an environmentally,
socially, and economically healthy future. We believe that the
world is in the midst of a great turning and opportunity exists to
leverage the historically proven power of women to help us all live
more sustainably. The following principles exemplify why we believe
moms hold the key:
- A History of Success: Throughout
history, women - and mothers in particular - have stepped up to
meet the demands of the times. From fighting fevers to fighting
fascists, women just do what needs to be done, and our planet needs
that now more than ever. We need it, our children need it, and all
of the species on earth need it. Our EcoMom educational programming
and marketplace support an already thriving group of consumers and
change makers looking for better answers and ways of working
together.
- A Return to Balance: Women are
hungry for change. A 2006 Center for Disease Control study found
American women overextended, isolated and depressed; we are living
out of balance with the natural world, and our selves. By helping
women begin to take better care of themselves and their families –
with education, support, tools and products - we empower them to
take the all important first steps toward a healthier, more
balanced, and sustainable lifestyle.
