We discovered Piggy Paints a few years ago and it's been all we've used on the girls since. I love to give one with a birthday gift for a 2yr old, too. You do have to follow directions and set it with 30seconds or so of cool/warm air from the blow dryer, but if you do that it'll stay on pretty well. It does chip more than traditional polishes but that's something we're willing to accept for a safer product.
