Kissaluvs Organic Cotton/Hemp Fitted Diaper (Medium/Large)

nice diaper

saskia

I have the newborn size and they are great. My super soaker son was born at 8.5 lbs ad is now 12 and they still fit great and don't leak. They do get completely wet because of the volume but they hold it well and wash/dry easily and don't hold stains easily. Soft and low rise.

Great for overnight diaper

Kristin

Really like these...they're incredibly absorbent. I use these with Kissaluvs Marvels diaper cover and baby has yet to leak.

Perfect Night time diaper!

Keshia

This diapers is super absorbant and paired with a wool cover or longies, its bullet proof for overnight. My son is 35 lbs and very tall and they still fit him perfect. They are very soft too!

Bulky

Kami

These are soft and I've never had one leak, but they are really bulky. I also agree with the previous posters that they have a low rise.

Very short rise

Teri

These diapers are super soft and well constructed however like the previous reviewer said they have a short rise. So unless your little one has a short rise these won't fit long.

they're alright

Tara

I just got 2 of these and I *love* how soft they are, but the rise is not very high on my tall man. He's 17 mo old and 28 lbs and is 95% for his height. The price is about average for a hemp fitted. They do seem to absorb a lot.

Quick Overview

Size M/L Medium/Large (15-40 lbs)

Made of a mix of naturally durable and anti-bacterial Hemp, and certified Organic cotton, these new diapers take green and sustainability seriously. Organic cotton is the perfect fabric for diapers. Not only does this pure fabric provide the best for your baby, it's also environmentally safe. It is grown without any harmful sprays, chemicals, or pesticides. It's what gives our diapers that character and natural color. Organic cotton takes substantially more time and effort to cultivate, and therefore costs more, but it's worth it. Your baby gets its native goodness and our earth is better cared for, when we don't take shortcuts. A win-win for all! Combined with hemp, it's a perfect match. The Hemp plant has been around for thousands of years and is known for its sturdiness and durability. It is one of the most, if not the most durable natural fiber known to mankind. It is naturally anti-bacterial and requires no irrigation, uses no herbicides, pesticides or synthetic fertilizers and gets harvested and processed by hand. Its positive environmental impact and naturally anti-bacterial properties make it a wonderful choice for diapers. Its porous nature provides superior absorbency and makes it softer with each wash.

Our diapers are made of absorbent materials inside and out, so you will likely want to use diaper covers over them.
Care Instructions:
Before Use

  • Wash/dry diapers on hot/high 3-4 times to reach initial absorbency.

  • Wash only about a dozen or so at a time for the initial pre-washes.

Regular Washing Routine
There are many opinions about diaper washing, and many people have developed additional steps and routines based on their individual needs. Here are simple instructions to get you started.

  • Toss wet or dirty diapers into a dry pail; wash every 2-3 days.

  • An optional cold-water pre-rinse helps prevent stains and odor.

  • Use hot water and detergent.

  • Veggie-based soap helps keep fabric soft, although its effectiveness depends on the hardness of your water. In any water, soap can coat fabric, so consider alternating soap and detergent to avoid decreased absorbency over time.

  • Do not use chlorine bleach.

  • Do not use fabric softeners, which coat fabric and reduce absorbency.

  • Drying diapers in a dryer, even on high heat, is perfectly okay, although an occasional sunning of clean, wet diapers will go a long way to freshen them and reduce or eliminate staining.

  • If you choose to sun the diapers or line dry rather than use a dryer, we strongly suggest either laying the diapers flat to dry, or hanging them horizontally rather than by the waist or front section. Hanging wet diapers by the waist allows the heavy, wet weight to pull on leg elastic, which may reduce its useful life.

All reusable diapers, covers and inserts are final sale
